An important event organized by the Gazi University Basic and Engineering Sciences Central Laboratory Application and Research Center (GÜTMAM) was held under the coordination of GÜTMAM Director Prof. Dr. Sema Bilge Ocak. The event was attended by Gazi University Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ramazan Bayındır, Rector's Advisor Prof. Dr. Abdülkerim Yörükoğlu, Secretary General Mehmet Ali Özkan, Director of the Institute of Science Prof. Dr. Uğur Gökmen, Deputy Directors of the Institute of Science Prof. Dr. Gürhan İçöz and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Bilen, GÜTMAM Deputy Directors Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ramazan Çakıroğlu and Dr. Lecturer Esra Uyar, as well as academic staff members Lecturer Aslıhan Demirkaya and Lecturer Ayten Seçkin.
During the event, discussions were held about the activities conducted in the NMR Laboratory, Radioactivity Measurement and Analysis Laboratory, and FE-SEM Laboratory within the central laboratories, as well as plans for establishing new laboratories. Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız emphasized the significance of the education and research activities carried out within the "Minerals and Boron Technology" Department, which was established under the Institute of Science as the first of its kind in Turkey. He also highlighted the establishment of the "Minerals and Boron Technology Research Laboratory," another first among universities, as a major step forward for research and project development in this field.

The discussions held during the event underscored the university's commitment to scientific research and collaboration, reaffirming its pioneering role in these areas.
