As part of the Community Contribution and Social Responsibility project by the Basic and Engineering Sciences Central Laboratory Application and Research Center (GÜTMAM), the third event under the title “I’m Not Afraid of Radiation, I’m Protecting Myself” was held at Sezai Karakoç Anatolian High School. The training session was conducted by GÜTMAM Director Prof. Dr. Sema Bilge Ocak.
The event was supported by the participation of Sezai Karakoç Anatolian High School Principal Bitem Banu Tamer, Physics Teacher Banu Tataroğlu, Academic Advisor Prof. Dr. Adem Tataroğlu, and GÜTMAM Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ramazan Çakıroğlu.
During the event, participants gained scientific knowledge about radiation and had the opportunity to measure radiation levels in a real-world setting.
