Our university, in partnership with the Basic and Engineering Sciences Center Laboratory Application and Research Center (GÜTMAM) and the Institute of Science (FBE), held the first event titled "I Am Not Afraid of Radiation, I Am Protected" as part of the Social Contribution and Social Responsibility project at Etimesgut Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Anatolian High School.

The event, held in the conference hall of Etimesgut Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Anatolian High School, was attended by GÜTMAM Director Prof. Dr. Sema Bilge Ocak, Deputy Directors Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ramazan Çakıroğlu, Dr. Instructor Member Esra Uyar, Deputy Director of the Institute of Science Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Bilen, Instructor Zübeyde Özkan, and Etimesgut Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Anatolian High School Principal Muzaffer Ocak, along with teachers and students.

In his opening speech, Muzaffer Ocak, the Principal of Etimesgut Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Anatolian High School, expressed the importance of the project carried out by our university and his satisfaction with the collaboration. GÜTMAM Director Prof. Dr. Sema Bilge Ocak provided information about the social and civic responsibility project and stated that GÜTMAM and the Institute of Science would continue working in this direction.

After the opening speeches, GÜTMAM Deputy Director Dr. Instructor Member Esra Uyar made a presentation to the students and teachers who attended the event as part of the project. Following the presentation, there was an interactive question-and-answer session with the students for knowledge sharing.

GÜTMAM Director Prof. Dr. Sema Bilge Ocak thanked the administrators, teachers, and students of Etimesgut Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Anatolian High School for their hospitality.
