Mr. Mehmet Naci İLCİ, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mining Industry Employers' Union (MASİS), visited GÜTMAM today and inspected the center and laboratories. The visit was hosted by GÜTMAM Director Prof. Dr. Sema BİLGE OCAK, Deputy Director Assoc. Dr. Ramazan ÇAKIROĞLU, and Head of the Minerals and Boron Technology Laboratory Prof. Dr. Abdülkerim Yörükoğlu. During the meetings, information was shared about GÜTMAM's strong research infrastructure, ongoing scientific studies, and projects that will add value to the mining sector. Furthermore, new areas of cooperation that will build a bridge between the university and industry were discussed, and opportunities for joint R&D and technology development were evaluated.
