Gazi University Central Laboratory Application and Research Center for Fundamental and Engineering Sciences (GUTMAM) hosted an important event aimed at increasing scientific awareness and contributing to introducing young people to research culture. On March 31, an in-service training and practical briefing program was held at GUTMAM for students of Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Anatolian High School to support the projects they will prepare within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 4006 Science Fairs Support Program. As part of the training program, fundamental information regarding scientific research processes, laboratory safety, analysis methods, and project preparation stages was conveyed to the students. Furthermore, the advanced technology laboratories within GUTMAM were introduced, allowing students to closely familiarize themselves with the research infrastructure. The training aimed to develop students' scientific thinking skills, support project preparation processes, and contribute to the generation of qualified work for TÜBİTAK 4006 Science Fair projects. GUTMAM will continue its educational and promotional activities to support young generations in science and technology within the framework of university-society cooperation
